Grandmother, Mother and Daughter: Illusion of Freedom

It is a five-minute 'post-feminist' animation that celebrates (but also challenges) the ideas of feminism and individualism in Hong Kong. The watercolour in the film illustrates the concept of liquid society and publicity of women, from invisible to visible, from one choice to many. Indeed, there are more choices for the females nowadays, but are they really 'free'? Is the trend to be a 'powerful woman' really a 'free choice'? ​
